Disponibilitatea conexiunii optice FSO

Rezumat: Probabilitatea de intrerupere a fasciculului optic este calculata folosind metoda valorii de prag. Se bazeaza pe presupunerea ca intreruperile datelor receptionate se afla in interiorul unor intervale temporale unde intensitatea fasciculului optic scade sub o valoare de prag aleasa (sau puterea optica receptionata scade sub sensibilitatea receptorului). Metoda valorii de prag ofera o metoda simpla de calcul a probabilitatii de intrerupere si nu necesita o investigare minutioasa a performantelor receptorului.

Abstract: Optical beam interruption probability is calculated using the threshold value. It is based on the assumption that received data interruptions are within certain time intervals where the intensity of optical beam falls below a chosen threshold value (or received optical power is below the receiver sensitivity). Threshold value method provides a simple method for calculating the probability of interruption and does not require a thorough investigation of the receiver performance
