Metoda de analiza a topologiilor WSN pe baza vecinatatilor nodurilor senzor

Rezumat: Articolul prezinta o metoda de analiza a topologiilor retelelor de senzori wireless, in vederea selectiei acestora pe baza unor criterii obiective, dar adaptabile cerintelor de costuri, performanta si de eficienta energetica impuse de aplicatie. Metoda se bazeaza pe conceptul de vecinatate a unui nod senzor, prin determinarea numarului optim de vecini care asigura indeplinirea cerintelor aplicatiei. Metoda este adecvata in special in cazul topologiilor mesh si permite dimensionarea optima a retelei de senzori. Avantajele metodei sunt reducerea costurilor de implementare a aplicatiei, caracterul intuitiv, precum si exploatarea unor criterii spatiale adaptabile la specificul aplicatiei.

Abstract: The paper presents a method for the wireless sensor networks topologies analysis; it allows to select the WSNs topologies according to certain objective but also application specific costs,performance and energy efficiency-related criteria. The method exploits the sensor node neighborhood and finds out the optimal neighbors number supporting the application requirements. The method is especially suitable for the mesh topologies and it enables the optimal sizing of the sensors network. The method’s advantages are the following: the application development costs decreasing, its intuitive feature and also some application specific spatial criteria exploiting.
