Statistica bidimensionala a amplitudinii zgomotului de impulsuri

Rezumat: Statistica bidimensionala a zgomotului de impulsuri evalueaza efectele asupra semnalelor ortogonale. Folosind un model Weibull cu doua variabile aleatoare pentru amplitudinea zgomotului de impulsuri si o statistica Gauss bivariata pentru zgomotul alb aditiv, se determina distributia zgomotului pentru modulatia DMT cu N purtatoare. Se compara ratele erorilor de bit (BER) produse de modelele Weibull, respectiv Gauss, ale amplitudinii zgomotului de impulsuri. Se arata ca modulatia MC-QAM produce un BER superior comparativ cu modulatia SC-QAM.

Abstract: The bi-dimensional statistics of the impulse noise assesses the effects on orthogonal signals. A bivariance Weibull model for the amplitude impulse noise and a bivariance Gauss statistics for the additive white Gauss noise are determining the total noise distribution for the DMT modulation with N carriers. The bit errors rates (BER) of both the Weibull model and the Gauss statistics, irrespectively, are compared. It is concluded that the multi-carrier quadrature amplitude modulation (SC-QAM) produces a better BER than the single-carrier QAM (SC-QAM).
